This fitting instruction was put to me by Martin Schroeder at
the disposal, since it already converted with itself on xenon.
Possibly it will give a relay group in PnP inkusive wiring of
xenon and employments for the burners in foreseeable time. So, here
now the guidance:

Thus in the rough each xenon kit should function (much gets one
approves of with ebay, those consists of two controllers,
2Brennern and the associated sets of cables). I procured myself
however a kit of Philips with separate controllers per SW
(connecting and ignition equipment) for 1.100 DM, wg. the better
buildability in the Corrado headlight (to see in the pictures, e.g.
the rear assembly at the housing without any external wirings. Looks
better like my opinion than if still any controllers in the engine
compartment rumfliegen...





The most important, the attachment of the burner:



As in the photos I per SW 2 old H4-Sockel took and those
accordingly worked on.





Then some base (a recess with a "pin" bent inward must keep received
around the burner centered) into the H4-Aufnahme, the burner
centers behind it and in the end the second base (must have inside 2
recesses wg. the two pins at the burner) drauf and normally to
clamp. Keeps bombenfest!



That would be only which from kits to kits is alike, with the
accommodation Steuergeraete/des of controller must one be
inventive.



I tinkered an aluminium profile upward for example around the
dispersion to reduce and built it in the SW under the burner.

There xenon (D2S) contrary to H4-Abblendlicht in all directions
shines the lower part of the reflector (actually responsibly for
Ferlicht with H4) with was illuminated and thus the oncoming
traffic was before always dazzled: (

There is however also D2R-Brenner, which integrated already so a
kind glare shield. I will times test shortly.

Thus also a few modifications can one thus also in the Corrado an
already very beautiful xenon result obtain.



Note of me (Zoran) to the pictures: The weak light is an old
08/15-H4-Birne, rights xenon (from the driver's side)

In the pictures actually again everything is avowed - on some
however the color of light is falsified (reddish yellowish). In
natura it is many white/bluer stop.



Besides I would guess/advise with the sheeting of xenon urgently to a
relay control of the headlights (e.g. the kit of Zoran, that have I
since short one in it and are inspired!). Before I had often (small
tension causes to the SW by with the Corrado to) a strong
flickering of the burners, before they ignited finally. Stop a little
sees beside it out.... The controllers need between 12 and 13 V for
normal igniting.

No relay kit should be blocked should one the safety devices of the
headlight low beams to 15 A increase despite the recommendation, since
the Xenons needs when igniting briefly little more juice (approx.
85 Watts per piece). In the normal enterprise is there then only still
approx.. 35 Watts.

Thus much fun with the change and if still questions emerge should I
will naturally try it to answer.




Still another note of me (Zoran): Without relay group is a rather
large insulating diode necessary, xenon and high beam to shine at the
same time leaves, times apart from the load, is it without insulating
diode rather criminally from high beam to headlight low beam to be
switched, completely apart from which with bad current supply the
Xenons first times only flickers.
